The current version of the QAN TestNet utilizes Proof-of-Authority (PoA) with dedicated validator nodes. In upcoming versions of the QAN TestNet, users will be able to participate in the validation process when the QAN TestNet transitions to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism.
